Main Menu / Toolbar

The Main Menu bar is similar to those in other Windows® applications and provides access to all the application's features. It has four top-level menu items and each of them has its own list of commands:

• File menu item
  • Save - saves the configuration.
  • Import menu item
    • Import Configuration... - opens the Configuration Import wizard.
  • Send Configuration menu item
    • Send to a Friend - automatically creates a new e-mail with the attached ZIP archive containing your configuration files.
    • Send to the Tech Support - automatically creates a new e-mail with the attached ZIP archive containing your configuration files and fills this e-mail's "To:" field with the Actual Tools Technical Support address.
  • Exit - closes the Configuration Module.
• Windows menu item
  • Add Window Rule - adds a new specific window rule. A new rule has the default name Window n (e.g. Window 1, Window 2, etc.) and all its options are preset to the values defined for the Default Settings rule.
  • Delete Window Rule - deletes the selected specific window rule.
  • Copy Window Rule - adds a new rule that is an exact copy of the selected Specific Window rule.
  • Move Up - changes the position of the selected rule in the list (it is placed one step upper than before).
  • Move Down - places the selected rule one step lower than before.
  • Sort Ascending - sorts specific window rules in ascending alphabetical order of their names.
  • Sort Descending - sorts the specific window rules in descending alphabetical order of their names.
  • Enable All - enables all specific window rules.
  • Disable All - disables all specific window rules.
  • Restore to Default - resets the selected specific rule's settings to those defined in the Default Settings rule.
  • Copy Settings from... - replaces the selected specific rule's settings with those defined in another specific rule selected in the Select Rule dialog.
• Actions menu item
  • Load Actual Window Manager - launches the Actual Window Manager's Control Center and begins processing the already opened windows.
  • Unload Actual Window Manager - stops processing the windows and shuts the Actual Window Manager's Control Center down.
  • Start Actual Window Manager - re-enables processing the windows if it was stopped by the next command.
  • Stop Actual Window Manager - temporarily disables processing the windows.
  • Options... - opens the Options dialog.
• Help menu item
  • Context Topic - opens the manual on how to use Actual Window Manager.
  • Actual Tools Home Page - opens an Internet browser window and directs you to the Actual Tools site http://www.ActualTools.com/. You can learn more about our company and our products here.
  • Actual Window Manager Home Page - opens an Internet browser window and directs you to Actual Window Manager home page.
  • Information about Updates... - opens the Subscribe to Newsletter dialog.
  • Tell a Friend... - opens the Tell a Friend dialog.
  • Enter Registration Code - opens the Registration dialog.
  • Order Full Version Now - opens an Internet browser window and directs you to the order page of Actual Window Manager.
  • About... - opens the About dialog.

The Main Toolbar contains the buttons that double the commands from the Main Menu so you can invoke the same operations just by a single mouse click.
