This is only a problem with 2 monitors and activated Desktop Divider.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a window on monitor 1.
2. Right-Click on the "Put into"-Button in the title bar and put the window in a tile on monitor 2.
3. Maximize the window
-> The window gets maximized to monitor 1! It should get maximized to monitor 2.
Windows XP Prof. 32-Bit, AWM 7.0

I can confirm this problem is fixed in AWM 7.1 Beta 2
