Since version 3.3, Actual Tools changes the licensing policy for Actual Multiple Monitors: now this product is free for a personal use. The Free version can be used for an unlimited period but some functions will be unavailable. To unlock them, a user must purchase a Pro version license. Back to top   Individual Taskbar Settings on Each Monitor Since this version, you can customize taskbars on each monitor individually. You can toggle the visibility of such controls as Start button, notification area, clock and the taskbar itself: Note As far as taskbar controls can be shown/hidden independently, corresponding options have been removed from the Taskbar panel. Once you hid the taskbar on particular monitor - you can return it back via new Taskbars submenu in program icon's context menu: Back to top   Wrap the Desktop Mouse Tool If you have more than two monitors lined up horizontally or vertically - you surely know how hard it may be to drag the mouse between outermost monitors, especially when monitors have larger resolutions (like 1600, 1920 or even more). In such case, the idea to wrap the desktop comes to rescue: instead of dragging the mouse throughout the desktop, you just move it beyond the outermost edge - and it appears at the opposite outermost edge of desktop! This version offers a new mouse tool that embodies this idea: just enable this tool and select which opposite edges of desktop must be wrapped - left/right, top/bottom or all: Back to top   Minor Fixes and Improvements Preview thumbnails in secondary taskbars now can display window icon/caption: Also, there was an option added to always show icon/caption in previews, even in cases the system taskbar does not (i.e. when the Always combine option is active). This can be undoubtedly useful for tabbed windows, like web browsers: Secondary taskbars can be toggled to stay always-on-top or not via taskbar's context menu: When installing a new version in Windows Vista/7, special system mechanism is used to avoid the reboot after updating program's runtime library. Multi-monitor Taskbar extension tracks multi-window applications (like MS Visual Studio) more accurately. Hand tool works more consistently (example). Back to top   Bugfixes Windows 7: Sometimes Multi-monitor Taskbar caused Windows Explorer's crash when working with applications that add control buttons into their preview thumbnails. Sometimes the Multi-monitor Taskbar's context menu initially appeared behind the taskbar. Windows Vista/7: Sometimes Desktop Window Manager crashed. If a window was maximized to desktop and then maximized in usual way, its buttons remained in secondary taskbars. Winamp 5, when in skinned mode, did not appear in secondary taskbars. Soft Mouse Lock could not be activated without a full reload of the program. Hand tool stopped working after restarting the program. Upon closing, Configuration window sent the unwanted Back command to an underlying window (Windows Explorer, any web browser, etc.). Multi-monitor Wallpaper extension crashed on invalid image files. Multi-monitor wallpapers looked wrong for portrait-oriented monitors. The "Next slide" command did not appear in Desktop's context menu when the program was installed with the support of administrative tools. Desktop profile hotkeys stopped working after applying the configuration changes. Slideshow parameters were not modified after activating another desktop profile. Multi-monitor Screen Saver did not run the Blank screen saver if it was assigned to a second/third/etc. monitor. Console windows hung for 5 seconds after launching.
