Grant,

I've sent you link to another test build via private messages. Could you try it and see whether the problems persist?

Could you also provide information about your monitors: what monitors do you use, what resolutions and DPI settings (percentage - 100%, 125%, 150% etc) do they have?

Best regards.

Hi, Bogdan.

Just check the PM.
The problem still persists.

I'm using BenQ SW271 @ 4K with 200% DPI scaling.

Thanks.

Grant,

Does changing DPI settings to 100% solve the problem?

Best regards.

related issue...  get this about twice a day as well

wow...  been like half a year and this hasn't been solved.  Seriously, I've just kind of lived with knowing i'm going to have to kill one of the 3 awg process about twice a day and have it restart before i can regain control of my computer.  if i didn't rely so heavily on awg i would have dumped it long ago.  would be nice if you guys/gals could figure this out... really surprised it's gone on this long.

Grant,

I've sent you another test build via private message. Could you see whether it has the same problem or not?

a p,

I've asked you to send us process dump file in my last message to you in this topic. I haven't received an email with the dump file from you. Without it we can't investigate the problem.

Could you next time the problem happens and the taskbars freeze go to the Task Manager > Processes tab, create a dump file for the Actual Window Manager process that is not responding (see the screenshot) and send it to us to uninstall@support.com?

Best regards.

Dear Team!
I have faced with issue when awm 8.12.1 freeze my laptop in next situations:
1) During startup
2) When resolution is switched (for example running any game in full screen mode)

I have 3 monitors DELL U2715H connected to Lenovo P50 with Windows 7 x64
Screen resolution is 2560x1440
DPI is 100%

Regards,
Alex

Could you upload the file to some file hosting service (for example Dropbox or Google Drive) and provide us a link to the file?

Do you mean the system is slowed down temporarily, or it freezes completely and you have to restart the system?

Does it happen every time in the listed situations or only sometimes?

What are the laptop's CPU and graphics card?

What mouse do you use? Is there some mouse software installed in the system?

Best regards.
