I am after a way that a hot key is pressed it only minimizes all/shows desktop on 1 monitor only and leaves the main monitor as is?
at moment when i press show hide desktop it does it on all monitors

Have you considered using the "Minimize all windows" standard Windows shortcut instead of Show Desktop? Our software provides the feature that limits this command to the monitor with mouse pointer (Actual Tools program configuration module > Multiple Monitors > Taskbar > the option "Minimize all" command affects only the monitor with mouse).
The feature is available in
Actual Multiple Monitors
and in our main product
Actual Window Manager
which provides all the features presented in our other products.
