 I've noticed that quite frequently lately the server for the forums becomes extremely slow. I've had my browser time out several times while waiting for a response from the server. Is there a problem and is it being checked out?

Have you noticed how many times per day does it happen, how long does it last and what exactly time does it happen at?

Maybe you are experiencing the time outs caused by regular server backups?
