The new facility to support primary taskbar toolbars, in 5.5 beta1 is superb, although I cannot get Clipmate V7 clipbar to work on other than the primary taskbar itself. All other toolbars seem to work great though.
Thank you for an excellent feature.
Best Regards

Hello Gerard,
Glad that you back again.
Thank you for your continuing interest and for the high appreciation of our software.
I've checked the situation with the
ClipMate 7
toolbar and discovered the following:
it works normally on secondary taskbars - BUT
only one copy can be running at the same time! (try to disable the
ClipMate
toolbar on the primary Taskbar and re-enable it on any secondary taskbar)
(this doesn't relate to the subject in question - just a side note) it doesn't even appear in the list of toolbars if the target taskbar is placed vertically.
Thus, I suppose you might request the
ClipMate
developers to improve the toolbar facility and allow running several copies of it simultaneously.

Alex,
Thanks for that - I use Clipmate too.
I'm running Windows 7 RC.
I can get the Clipmate toolbar to appear on the second monitor, but it won't connect to clipmate from there.
It does connect if I run it on the main monitor.

Hello Martyn,
Nice to see you yoo!
I've made my check on
XP SP2
- everything worked as expected. We'll try to reproduce the situation on
Windows 7
soon. Thank you for your feedback!

Hello Alexey
I’m using Vista 32bit, and have a similar problem to
Martyn. I Can only get the Clipmate place holder to appear on the secondary taskbars, it will not connect
with Clipmate and display the full toolbar . All other toolbars seem to work fine.
Clipmate does appear on my list of toolbars even when the target taskbar is aligned vertically.
I never went away, I still look in every day. I just had to roll back to the previous version before 5.4 as I was having problems with Winstep Extreme etc, but you have cured these with 5.5 beta, so I’m right up to date again.
Best Regards

Gerard,
Okay, we'll check this issue on
Vista
too. Me or Tatiana will keep you informed on the results of our testing. Stay tuned!
