I'm working with a program that, when you hover a mouse over a filename, opens a small preview window of that graphic.  Whenever this happens, the virtual desktop changes to my 'other' one (I only have two defined).  When it switches virtual desktops, the little preview window is still visible on the desktop even though that program has been defined to be visble only on the 'other' desktop...

It matters not which display the program is on, the above always happens...

I should add, when that little preview window disappears after time out, the virtual desktop switches back to the one I was on.

Matt, thanks for the feedback. However, we need some more details on the described issue:

1) What "program" actually are you talking about?

2) Can you turn on the Windows Monitoring Log and try to capture properties of that preview window (class/caption/program)?

Sorry, the program is from Crestron called VT-ProE.  It's a touch panel programming software, but it's not avaialable for public download that's why I didn't tell you before.

I started the log, and have attached it when running the program, but the log does not capture anything when I hover over the graphic.  I've also take a couple screen shots with AWM off so you can see what it looks like.

Here's the program in resource view with the list of the image files.

Here's the result of a hover over a specific file name in the list...

And here's the log...it shows the launch of the program, but nothing when you hover.

Hope that helps!

Just thought I would note that this no longer happens with beta 2 installed.  I imagine it was sorta the same problem as the Photoshop deal and when you fixed that, it took care of this as well.
