I'd like to propose that on the Setting Summary view, you add a comments field that users can use to describe their specific window settings. The new field can be placed just under Window Menu item.
Although the summary page lists all the actual settings, a user description of why the settings was created or a pertinent aspect of this setting would be extremely useful. If I haven't played with settings for a while and then go to Window Manager, I really can't remember why I created some of the variations.

Greg, thanks for another interesting suggestion. BTW, you already can add your comments to specific settings using the Details button on the Target Window property sheet (this button is on the right of the settings Name edit box; being pressed, it opens the special Details dialog). Anyway, we can surely put that Description field to the Summary page.

I also think that would be a valuable asset. We might be deploying this solution to create virtual interfaces for our AV systems, across multiple displays, and having a quick reference for the idea of the specific windows settings would be valuable for the end-user or service technician.

Gentlemen,
The subject feature has been added in the recent
5.2 beta 2
so please check it out. Is it useful enough, or there are any ways to improve it further? Thanks.

I think it's useful enough, just a little decription on what the intent of the settings is all about.
Thanks!
