I use a command-prompt-window application called 'DrvIco' from Unknown Software(http://www3.telus.net/_/).

I've set the window position and size at startup. This works fine.

Alex, are you interested in finding examples of command-prompt-window applications or, testing all Window Manager functions on a specific application?

I also applied 25% transparency when the window was inactive but it didn't work. I've got a feeling you said this is one of the functions that does not work with command-prompt-window applications.

What would be useful is an on-screen reminder of what is known to not work for command-prompt-window applications. I believe all these applications use the window class 'ConsoleWindowClass'. If that is true you could add a comment to the summary page reminding the user of what does not work with this window class.

The note could be black on gray on the Target Window summary line following the last setting or, at the botom of the summary screen below the Window Menu line.
