In the UK, when I was a teenager, we called them pimples. Here in Australia, my children call them 'zits'. In my older years I'll just politely refer to them as blemishes.

On the summary page, is that a blemish I see? On the attached graphic I've marked what looks like a spot that shouldn't be there. It's the colour of a hypertext link, sits close to the icon, but not close enough, and is round. Also, like real blemishes, it's hard to get rid off. :-)

In the Actual Tools we call it an icon in the tray, which appears when you minimize a window  :)

As you can see all images at this page (quite sketchy, of course) depict a corresponding action.

P.S. Thank you for your attentiveness. It sounds funny: "Minimize to a pimple in the tray"  :D

Hi Michael,

You have to admit that it is not clear whether or not the spot belongs to the graphic or the hypertext link. :-)
