I have to uninstall the Matrox Powerdesk Software, as multiple multimonitor management apps (powerdesk, nView, AWM) seem to intefere with each other and lead to problems.
The Powerdesk software is the only software, which has the option to "prevent tooltip and menu spanning across its desktop dividers". This feature is more or less essential for me, as I use a Matrox Dualhead2Go, which uses two identical physical monitors to be used @ one video output of the machine, offering one additional display with double the resolution to the OS. However, when menus/tooltips are displayed in the middle of this double sized display, the monitor bezels interupt the toolbar/menu display.
The Matrox Powerdesk software offers "desktop dividers" (I divide the one double sized display into two divisions occupying one physical monitor each) and the option to prevent "tooltip and menus spanning across divisions", so whenever a tooltip or a menu bar is displayed, it either occurs on the left physical monitor, or on the right physical monitor, never interrupted by the monitor bezels.
I NEED AWM to provide this option, too, in order to be able to completely uninstall the Powerdesk software, and finally only use AWM only.
Please try to add such a feature to AWM.
