After disabling the secondary monitor to watch a movie on the primary one, I cannot enable the secondary through Multiple Montiors (4.1 Beta 2). I need to do it through windows display settings.

Hello Richard.

Could you describe the problem more detailed? What do you use to disable/enable the secondary monitor? What exactly doesn't let you enable the monitor?

What OS are you running (name, 32- or 64-bit)?

Best regards.

I disabled the secondary monitor by right clicking the Multiple Monitors icon in the notification area (ie. Manage Secondary=>Disable all secondary monitors). I cannot re-enable the secondary monitor afterwards (ie. Manage Secondary=>Enable all secondary monitors).

I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

Is the "Enable all secondary monitors" item inactive, or just nothing happens when you click this item?

Please send us your configuration files using the "Send to Tech Support" tool.

"Enable all secondary monitors" is active but nothing happens when I click it.
I'm getting a "General MAPI failure" when I try to send configuration files and I can't see a way for me to attach a manually saved configuration file.

Delete quotes from our e-mail address when trying to send the files, it should help.

Or you can just send us these files by e-mail, our address is support@actualtools.com.

Regards.

As i can see, your laptop monitor is secondary and the external monitor is primary.

Please set your laptop monitor as primary and the external as secondary and check whether the problem still occurs.

Best regards.

I can re-enable secondary if my laptop is set as primary. Once the secondary (external monitor) is re-enabled, its resolution is changed to be the same as the laptop.

Please see the attached screen capture for details.

As i can see on this screenshot the resolutions of this monitors are different (just look at the taskbars - the left one is longer). Please clarify what do you mean saying the resolution is changed to be the same as the laptop.
