When I move the main Snagit window (versions 10 and 11) to a desktop tile the window freezes and I cannot do anything anymore. The right-click taskbar options still work, but that is all. In order to restore the functionality I have to close Snagit entirely from the tray (right-click > Exit Snagit) and then restart it.
It happens on both Vista Ultimate 32-bit and Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Snagit Editor is not affected.

Hello Vasiliy,
I do not know whether the release note

is also meant for this issue, but this error still exists in AWM 7.0 final.
Best regards.

Is this a technical issue or just a time constraint/priority setting?
Best regards.

This is a technical issue.
That is a bummer. I have already had some cases when I moved the Snagit window and accidentally dropped it in a desktop tile which made it crash. To prevent this I could include an exclusion for Snagit, but then I would lose all other AWM options as well. So I am looking for a solution where I cannot accidentally drop a Snagit window on a desktop tile anymore. Do you have any suggestions? Maybe in a future release you could add the option to indicate that desktop tiles should not work for a particular program? That would certainly make sense if the technical issues you are writing about could also occur with other programs. I am just thinking out loud...
Best regards.

Hello Pim,
Unfortunately, the only way to isolate the problem is to add Snagit to the exclusion list of Actual Window Manager at the moment.
Best regards.

Hello Vasiliy,
Thank you. I'll see whether I can be careful enough not to drop Snagit onto a desktop tile. If not, I will have to make an exclusion indeed.
Best regards.
