would be handy to be able to drag a window across multiple tiles.
maybe with a key modifier:
you start dragging a window upon the first desktop tiles frame, the entire tile gets overlayed, indicating that the window would get maximized into this tile on dragrelease.
Instead dragrelease, you now hit a modifier key and drag the window across multiple tiles, spanning the maximize area like in the "put into... " dialog...

Yes, I agree that would be handy. It is a logical supplement to the current option to drag a window across multiple tiles via a right-click on the Put into title button.
