as I wrote here: http://www.actualtools.com/forum/read.php?FID=10&TID=1757&MID=7356&sphrase_id=37159#message7356

and several other times:

Some "Soft Monitors" are NOT detected right in AWM:
I use a laptop (Screen#1:1920x1200) with a Matrox Dualhead2Go (Screen#2:3200x1200, driving 2 monitors á 1600x1200)
These screens are detected by AWM and available to its multimonitor config an to its desktop divider

In addition I use MaxiVista, which adds the second Laptops screen to the system via network, and iDisplay, which adds the iOS screen to the system via network, too.

These screens are NOT available to AWMs multimonitor config and desktop divider.

However, in a window configs' "position on monitor#" dropdown menu, I can choose the maxivista and iDisplay monitors, which both are labeled "Monitor 0", in addition to the Monitor 1 and Monitor 2.

I explained it all in the post linked above.

UltraMon detects ALL my monitors perfectly. So why doesn't AWM? Please please have a look!

TabSel,

Thank you for the report.

The problem has been investigated and confirmed. Both MaxiVista and iDisplay add virtual display devices in a manner that is not fully compatible with Windows 7 so we have to do some special actions to find those virtual devices and include them into the list of regular display devices.

We plan to fix the compatibility with MaxiVista and iDisplay in the final version 6.8.
