Where is "Remove Standard Window Parts"? I wanted to try hiding the title bar but I can't find the option anywhere. A lookup in help tells me it should be in the "startup" section but it's not there. I'm using 6.3b1 on Windows 7.

In
AIM 6.3b1
this feature was redesigned to
Change standard window parts
. To remove the title bar, mark the
Border and title bar
check box and select
Remove
in its combo box.

Can you explain EXACTLY how you get to that option because I can't see it anywhere. I really suspect that it is missing fr om my version for some reason as I'm sure I would have found it if it was there.

Rocco, if you have AWM configuration running, the feature you are looking for is indeed under the startup settings.
If you choose any application from under 'specific setting' then click the startup button in the toolbar. If you then scroll down the dialog, you will see a section titled options. check the box labelled 'change standard window parts' and you will be able to access the features you require.
best regards

Rocco, I know it is very simplistic but if you are still unable to find these options, you may want to ensure that AWM upgraded to the beta version successfully. Help | About | Version 6.3 beta 1
Sometimes it's the simplest things that can get overlooked.

Finally, following your instructions, I was able to figure out what the problem was. My "options" section was off the bottom of the screen. There was such a large gap between it and the previous section, I wasn't even aware there was more below.
I'm not sure how it happened but it's fixed now.
Thx.
