Running Windows 7 64-bit and Office 2007 (32bit, obviously) and note that moving office app windows to other monitors results in an icon for the app appearing in the AWM task bar for that monitor but that the icon REMAINS in the Windows task bar on my default system monitor. This doesn't happen with other icons. Moving notepad between monitors means that the icon moves as well (rather than being replicated).

Michael,

Same configuration here and I do not see this happening. (Unless I check the "Mirror primary taskbar" option, but then, obviously, ALL icons get replicated.)

I've just worked out that this only occurs with applications that are pinned to the Start Menu on my system. Can anyone else confirm this?

Michael,

I also run Windows 7 64-bit and (full suite) Microsoft Office 2007.

I cannot reproduce the "replication" of the Office apps icons in multiple taskbars.

I tried for a few apps: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. Everything behaves as expected whether pinned to Start Menu or not.

Interesting. It's very replicable on my end. If I remove an office application's "pin" from my start menu, that application moves from monitor to monitor and from taskbar to taskbar "cleanly". If I re-pin that app to the start menu, the taskbar icon is replicated on each task bar.

In researching this, I've further discovered that this is confined solely to Office 2007 Enterprise applications.

Sigh... I guess I'm going to have to look closely at the addons/plugins I'm running.

No luck so far - it doesn't *appear* to be a plug-in. Will keep investigating.
