I have just updated from beta1 to beta2 (and rebooted ;) and when i close some programs (winrar, radmin, just to name a few) the close nim pauses for about a third to half a second. But other programs like firefox closedown fine. This only happened AFTER going from Beta1 to Beta2.

I'm not seeing this behaviour under Win7 64-bit (just tested with Winrar).

it's really weird some programs exhibite this and some do NOT. If I uninstall Beta2 ALL programs close fine. I did not have this problem with beta1 but can't try beta1 again as it's run out.
Here's a quick youtube video with first winrar(with tiny delay) closing and then windows explorer closing(like normal). When it does stutter it cloases a TINY bit then stops then closes.

I have beta 2 hot fix 3 installed and running on Vista 32 bit. I have tested with notepad and WinRar and can confirm I'm not seeing this delay when opening or closing windows.

Michael Plant has Windows 7 64bit and is not showing this delay, maybe it is related to the ATI drivers, Michael and zegames what type of graphics card do you have ?.

In testing for this issue I have encountered a couple of other issues. I'll post these in seperate threads.

It might well be related to the ATI drivers but this ONLY happened after Beta2 was installed. Beta 1 was fine. So all devs have to do is see what they changed between beta1 and beta2 to the window handling code. :)

Gentlemen,

Could you confirm the problem's fix or persistence in the final version? Thank you!
