[+] Custom grouping of taskbar buttons is now available in Actual Taskbar.
First: I am still using Windows XP (because it is a good OS IMHO and i use linux at work), so maybe some of this does not apply to windows vista/7.
If i got it right the general idea of the custom grouping is the ability to group windows from different applications in one taskbar-button, so i can minimze, maximize, cascade etc. them together via the right-click-menu of this taskbar-button. This is a great idea
!
But there are two problems:
1. It works only if the setting "Group similiar buttons" in the windows taksbar properties is checked. This seems too restrictive for me. I should be able to create custom groups even if windows does not group similiar buttons automatically.
2. The group only collapses to one taskbar-button if the group consists of approx. 5 or more windows. And only if it collapses to one button, i can use the right-click-menu to minimze, maximize etc. the group. If i create a custom group it should immediatly collapse.
Best Regards.
I'm using Windows XP Prof 32-Bit and AWM 7.1 Beta 2.
