If I open a dialog window (Native Instruments Maschine Preferences) with this window  excluded, this dialog closes when I hit [X].

As soon as this window is NOT excluded, the window doesn't close anymore, on hitting [X]

I searched settings but haven't found anything related to this behaviour. What is causing this?

Hello TabSel,

Thanks for the post.

What our software do you use (name, version)?

What version of Native Instruments Maschine do you use?

What OS are you running (version, x32 or x64)?

Best regards.

TabSel, the Preferences window doesn't have the close button at least in the 1.7.1 version.

Could you send me a screenshot of this window and your configuration files (Actual Window Manager -> File -> Send Configuration -> Send to the Tech Support)?

Best regards.

of course, your so right, what have I been writing... I'm so sorry!

it's the audio and midi settings dialog.

With AWM started, no close possible with [X]
With AWM stopped, close possible with [X]

Default Windows setting applied, but there is no single setting related to this behaviour...

while at it...

there is a problem with the Maschine Preferences, too.

If the Preferences Window is NOT excluded in AWM, hitting "rescan" in the "plugin tab" causes Maschine to crash.
As long as Maschines Preferences window is not processed by AWM, hitting "rescan" works as expected...
