I have found it very difficult to make the VDControl less intrusive and easier to use by restricting it's placement and applying rollup however it seems like it continues to fight it. It seems that all works (kind of well) when I have dual displays connected when I enable the window settings but now when I boot using only my laptop display the switcher doesn't want to play nice. The only way I can seem to get it to function is by excluding it. I can send my config file if that would help. It doesn't only seem to happen since using the beta, which I had hope would make it work better. I think have read you are looking to integrate the switcher into the Start Menu and hope that will make it easier to use. For now it works best for me when I restrict it to top/center and rollup when inactive and unroll when hovered or made active. Also, AWM doesn't play nice with Stardock Object Desktop and takes much tweaking to get things right. I still cannot get Window buttons to appear when apply a Desktop Theme with OD Theme Manager. I wish I could get both to harmonize because both are excellent products.

Hello John,
Thanks for the post.
We'll change usability of VD Switcher, but we don't know how it'll look like yet.
We know about problems with Stardock Object Desktop and cannot solve them now.
Best regards.
