Computer Settings:
Windows 7 x64
Settings for Window Snapping:
Aero Snap (Windows 7-style window snapping)
Use Aero Snap Preview is checked
Unchecked the native Aero Snap in Window 7 is disabled.
(Which was default settings)
I usually have about 3-4 visual studio 2010 open and one of the usually disappears. (Have not been able to recreate this all the time) Most of the time it disappears when it is on the secondary monitor. I am able to press alt-tab to get to the window however, it is not anywhere on any of the tasks bars.
I am unable to recreate this bug all the time but I wanted to make you aware of it.
To fix my problem for right now I changed my settings to use the build in snap feature and it seemed to clear up the issue. Here are the settings below. I checked the disable the native Aero Snap in Windows 7.
Current Settings for Window Snapping:
Aero Snap (Windows 7-style window snapping)
Use Aero Snap Preview is checked
Disabled the native Aero Snap in Window 7 is disabled.
