There is another thread on AWM working strangely with MS Office 2007. This may or may not have something in common. Why? Because it is happening in similar configurations.
Windows 7 64-bit, AWM 6.1 beta 1, MS Office 2007.
Occasionally, but often enough to be noticable and even annoying, AWM causes strange behaviour of MS Outlook 2007. I say this because it never happened on my system before I installed AWM, and because it stops happening when I uninstall AWM.
What is happening? Several times a day, particularly it seems when the system is otherwise already busy, Outlook stops responding at all and becomes "hanged up" for extended periods of time (up to a minute or so); when Outlook is "frozen" the whole Title Bar area of its window becomes uniformly black and the only thing visible on it is the strip of AWM title bar buttons, no standard buttons, no title.
See attached screen capture.

BTW: I actually get this behavior in Explorer and Firefox (but ... not in Office or Outlook); from time to time.
I can't trace it to AWM though.
...Terry.

Terry,
It is quite ironic that now that you mentioned it I too saw it happen in Firefox (only once and very "mildly", but it did happen). During same period there were 4 or 5 occurrences of it for Outlook, much longer in duration.
And tracing it to AWM? It is just that I have been installing and uninstalling AWM quite a bit recently and it never happens when AWM is not running. May be just a coincidence, but combined with the fact that AWM buttons are the only thing visible makes me suspicious.

This issue is still there with AWM 6.1 beta 2!
I am not sure about severity (increased, unchanged or decreased), since I only have had beta 2 for two days.

Dariusz,
Could you please try to start Task Manager next time this hang-up happens, and make a screenshot of it?
We are interested in CPU usage of the hung process, as well as both AWM Centers.
