Please, could you clarify this statement? I've checked it myself right now, and everything's fine.
What version of Word do you use? What actions did you do to try solving the problem?

Hi
I am using : Microsoft word 2002 ( 10.6764.6735) SP3
I still cannot get the buttons to instal on word - I use actual title buttons and have not had this problem previously
Also the buttons flicker on several programs which is annoying.
Regards,

1. Please, send us your beta settings file (better if packed by ZIP). It's named "WindowRules.ini" and placed in beta installation folder ("C:\Program Files\Actual Window Manager 4.0 beta" by default).
2. Please, specify what programs exactly do you have flickering problem with.

I'm also using MO 2002 but mine's working fine. All buttons are there!

Do you have both version 3.8 and 4.0 beta installed?
When I first installed 4.0 beta, I forgot to uninstall 3.8 and my buttons flickered too. Stopping 3.8 fixed the problem.
Actually, for a long while I left both installed but just stopped 3.8 from loading on startup. That way, I was able to have easy access to all my old settings, and test the beta as well.

I have occasionally experienced problems with the toolbar buttons disappearing from certain application windows, usually after making some configuration changes and then saving them. In these cases, I usually end up just exiting from AWM and restarting, which typically resolves the issue. I may have had an instance or 2 where I actually had to reboot my PC to get the buttons displaying normally again. However, I have not noticed any "button flicker".
I will pay closer attention to which specific applications this occurs in and what changes I have made just prior to the problem occurring to see if there is a specific cause for this.

The problem of "significant delay before the buttons re-appear" really exists but it's so unstable and depends on so low-level Windows mechanisms that I can't tell the exact moment it will be fixed.
