When you right click on the AWM manager, and hover over desktop profiles, it always shows that my 'Dual Desktop' configuration with a check mark (which happens to be first in the list), even if I have recalled my 'Single Desktop' profile either by clicking it in the context menu,or via the configuration manager 'activate profile' button.

The desktops activate, but the feedback is incorrect.

I also notice some strange window management when I switch between my desktop profiles....

When I'm in dual desktop profile mode and have a window open on the second monitor, and I switch to single desktop mode, the window moves to the main display, but is not arranged full screen (as it was on the secondary monitor) it gets moved to the left half of the desktop, like if you were to drag the window to the left side of the screen for areo snap (I think that's what you call it).

When I'm in single desktop, and I switch to dual desktop windows that were on the main display get arranged to the left, just like the issue discussed above.

And. if a program that is supposed to be on monitor 2 is on the main monitor when I switch back to dual desktop mode, the window does not get repositioned on monitor 2, it stays on Monitor 1.

Not sure if these are actually issues, or more like feature requests.  But just thought I'd relay the findings....

Matt

Matt,

You are right, the check mark position does not change. Thank you for reporting this issue! It will be fixed in the coming release.

As for the moving and sizing windows, please try to disable "Keep automatically" in Windows Layout submenu of AWM (or, equally, in Windows Layout page of Options window).
If this option is turned on, the Windows Layout feature reduces/enlarges all windows whenever the desktop size changes.

I tried disabling the 'Keep Automatically' setting and it does seem to work (not reduce the size of the window) when you change from dual to single monitor.  But, when you go back to dual from single, the windows still resize (the ones that were originally on the second monitor only).

Matt,

I've tried to do the same, but after I've switched back from single to dual monitors profile, all the windows' sizes remained the same.

Does the resize occur in every applications/windows, or only in some specific ones?
