I've noticed when I was testing a Windows Explorer hang issue (still trying to narrow that one down a bit) and I would stop AWM and then restart it, that the virtual desktop programs that were open when AWM was stopped get applied to the first desktop in the list rather than the specific desktop selected in AWM config.

I don't think I noticed this before, but maybe I just never tried it.  It would be nice if the would automatically move to the designated desktop.

Matt, please specify which "Windows Explorer hang" issue did you mean? Have you reported about it?

As for the subject issue - does it happen with any window or with some particular ones?

There's already another thread about the windows explorer hanging, I'll add to it if I find something new that hasn't been said before.

It seems to happen with any window assigned to desktop 2.

If I open programs with AWM running they are placed on the correct desktops.  If I happen to stop AWM, no matter what desktop I currently am on, all windows are moved to the first desktop in the list.  (I normally only have two desktops, but I made a third and a rule for a program to run on the third and it showed up on the first as well).  Although, programs that are assigned the 'all desktops' funtion show on all the desktops when you switch between desktops after you restart AWM.
