Reference
this thread
, I thought I'd start afresh, as we're now on a different version, and some of the issues in that old thread are long since resolved.
The stubborn one which remains is the taskbar entry jumping from the secondary to the primary - just to let you know it's still happening in 5.4b1.
However, to finish on a high, the improvements in 5.4 are great - applying startup positioning before the window is drawn is really nice, and the primary taskbar reordering is working great with grouping turned on (I have too many icons to turn it off, so this is a real bonus!).
Cheers,
Dave.

Hi,
Any progress on the icon jumping glitch? Were you able to reproduce it at all?
Thanks,
David.

Hi David,
I've checked the mentioned issue myself but I failed to reproduce it both with regular
Firefox 3.0.3
and with
Firefox Portable 3.0.10
. Though
Firefox
icon blinks on the first monitor's taskbar when minimizing the
Explorer
window there but it jumps to
Firefox's
host monitor taskbar in a moment. It looks not perfect but acceptable.
Probably, you have some 3rd party application that changes the behavior of
Firefox
. Or, possibly, you have enabled something in
Firefox
(for example, 3rd party extension) that results in the discussed issue. Please let me know your thoughts on this guess.

Good pointer - running FF Portable 3.0.10 in safe mode, I get what you described (flashing the icon on the main task bar, then jumping back to the secondary where it should be). When not in safe mode, it sticks on the main taskbar.
So, I will begin the long hunt for which add-on or theme is causing it
Will post back if I track it down. I can't be doing without my add-ons though, so I guess I might just have to put up with it...
Cheers,
Dave.

Well, I got lucky (twice) - firstly it didn't take long to track down the offending extension - its FoxTab (v 1.1.2 if you want to check / reproduce). Secondly, its one I rarely use, and will happily do without for now. Obviously it would be great if AWM can work with it, but there are many more pressing things before you should worry about that!
Thanks again for bearing with me!
Dave.

Dear David,
Very good news!!! Thank you! We very glad to see that your problem is solved.
I installed FoxTab to my FireFox and the problem was confirmed. OK. We'll try to solve it.
