AWM 5.3 b2

I use an application - Yousendit Express  (http://www.yousendit.com/)

I have set AWM to minimise automatically on start - this works OK.  Then when I restore the window it is OK until I change the view in the application (say from Inbox to Sent items).  Then the application somehow refreshes the screen in a way that triggers AWM to minimise the window.

Dear Martyn,

Unfortunately, we can't fix this problem. These windows have same parameters (class, caption and program). Now we can't distinguish these windows.

Martyn,

You can suggest the support of Yousentit to change class or caption for 'refresh' window.

Tatiana,

That's fine.  I can work round the problem by using the minimize after deactivation feature in AWM with a short delay (I'm using 3 secs at the moment).

I was thinking that rename the window (change caption) might be part of the solution. Under the current circumstances, renaming with AWM would not solve Martyn's problem, BUT what if AWM had an additional option to change caption, to make the new name unique?

[_] Change caption
[_] Change caption unique

Greg,

Thank you for the interesting idea! :!: Although it's not a silver bullet but it seems that in some cases such option could help.
