Provide a way to create groups of message rules. The left pane of the configuration window currently has 3 groups: All Windows, Excluded Windows, and Specific Windows. Allow standard Windows Explorer like functions where by one can add new folders to the existing left pane tree, and then drag and drop individual message rules into those folders. Then if one could highlight any specific folder, make a message rule change, and all the individual message rules in that folder would all reflect that change.
When a folder in the left pane is highlighted, such as Specific Windows, display a table in the right pane with the individual message rules composing the rows, and with the columns representing all the individual message rule options. This would permit one to see, compare, and change all the individual message rule options at a glance.

This feature was already requested many times in the past so it's already added to our wishlist and will be implemented some day. But it has some vague implementation and presentation peculiarities so I doubt it will be implemented soon, sorry. Anyway, your opinion will be considered while developing this feature, thanks.

Please consider this as an alternative:
Add a context menu command to the configuration window that would allow one to copy all the settings (except, of course, the "target window") from one "specific window" to another.
It wouldn't be as elegant as the suggestion above, but it would have nearly equivalent functionality.

Thanks for the suggestion; we'll necessarily consider it in the future.

I had stopped using AWM for a while after installing Vista. I'm back and I must say that the I'm impressed with the improvements and particularly thankful that you've implemented my previous suggestion. Everything seems to be working perfectly with most of my applications.
So when can we expect support for 64-bit Vista windows?

Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
The support for 64-bit editions of Windows is sure to be provided in the future releases of Actual Tools' programs. We are constantly working on this functionality, I guess you can imagine that it is an issue of not a single day. Therefore it is difficult to determine the fixed date. All we can say for now is that we are sure to finally provide it someday. Sorry for possible inconveniences.

What are the benefits of an x64 implementation for an app such as AWM?
I mean, AWM is essentially a simple (which in no way means that it's useless or easy to develop, of course) app, not (much) memory intensive. Why spend time on x64 version instead of improving the app itself?
Those questions are rather for developers
, I guess
P.S. The reason I'm asking is that AWM v5 works as charm on my
Vista
x64
, and I'm wondering what could x64 version of AWM give me.
AWM v6.5 B2, REGISTERED
OS: Windows 7 SP1 x64 Ultimate
