Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit running Actual Window Manager 8.1 beta 3 results in daily "Actual Windows Manager stopped working" crashes.  Is there a log file I can capture and send to you?

Apart from that, I love the new features!

Thanks,
dan

Just for balance, I'm using 32-bit Win 7 Pro and AWM 8.1 Beta 3 is behaving perfectly, no crashes.

Doubtless it has something to do with my particular configuration.  I'm thinking it is likely due to my not having uninstalled Actual Multiple Monitors first (I have, however, stopped running AMM, so hard to see how there could be a conflict unless the two programs share certain dll's that didn't get overwritten by the AWM beta installation).

I'm reluctant to uninstall AMM because I have the last free version installed, no longer have the setup file for that version, and was thinking that if AWM doesn't meet my needs, I could revert back to the AMM free version (which is no longer offered by Actual Tools).  But I may have merely sabotaged my efforts at beta-testing AWM.

Using AWM 8.1 Beta 3 and haven't had a single stability issue (no crashing). Windows 7 64-bit

Sincerely,
Lars

Hello danielbliss,

Thanks for the post.

Are you getting the message from Actual Window Manager about sending details of the error?
Could you provide me a step by step description of how to reproduce the problem?

No, it's a Windows 7 message that pops up stating that Actual Window Manager has stopped working.

I cannot reproduce it at will.  It happens often enough, however, that I have stopped loading AWM.  My next step will be to uninstall both AMM and AWM and then re-install AWM beta.  I'm guessing that will solve the issue.  If it doesn't, I'll post again with further details.

Thanks,
Dan
