When I want to send my configuration files to Tech Support via the Tools Configuration panel, I get the following error. I do not get this error with AWM 7.5.1.

Hello Pim

Are you still experiencing this issue? Have you encountered it while using the latest version?

Best regards.

Hello Bogdan,

At first I thought that this issue had been solved with the regular release of version 8. But I did some more testing today with AWM 8.0.3 and found that this issue often appears when Outlook 2007 is not opened, but not always. In about 10-20% of the cases it works well if Outlook is not opened. If Outlook is opened while sending the configuration files it always works correctly. I do notice that if Outlook is not opened it will be opened by sending the configuration files. From my lay perspective I am thinking that it could be that the error is caused by AWM and Outlook not connecting well because of a time out error?

Hopefully this info is useful. If you need additional information please let me know.

Best regards.

Hello Pim

Does it happen on your Vista 32-bit system?

Best regards.

Hello Pim

I was unable to reproduce the issue.

Could you re-install Microsoft Office to check whether it helps?

Best regards.

I hope you understand that I do not want to do that right now. I have not had a chance to fix my desktop computer ever since it broke (June 2012!) and I am still struggling with some health issues too. I think you will understand that fixing my desktop has a higher priority. I also do not want to play around too much with my only production machine. What I can do though is to see what happens on my desktop once I have fixed that computer. It still may take a couple of months, if everything goes well (hopefully  :!: ). I will make a note that this thread is still open so that I will remember it (as a matter of fact, I already have a list with AWM items that I want to sort out which I have parked until I have more time available for testing and, if necessary, posting here on the forum  ;) ).

Best regards.
