Any progress on getting AWM to work with 2D surround with the new 314.07 series drivers and beyond?
Still get redundant program crash errors any time I close applications (including AWM). I have a working solution with DisplayFusion now (there's works with the new Nvidia drivers in 2D surround), but still prefer AWM if you can get it working properly.
2 Nvidia GTX 680's in SLI with 314.07 drivers, AWM 7.5b1, 4 monitors, 3 in 2D surroung (5760x1080) and 1 as an additional accessory monitor (1920x1200) that I want to use AWM to access (ignore deactivation) while I'm running my racing simulations.
-Ignore Deactivation does not work at all. Either by marking the Startup option, or by using the Hot Keys (hot keys do NOTHING).
-Many programs have repetitive crashes when closed, including AWM when I Exit from it.
-When you click on the Start button on the second monitor, the Start Menu actually pops up in the upper left corner of the 1st "monitor" (2D surround).
I believe the issue stems from some changes that Nvidia made to their 3xx.xx drivers for the new 600 series video cards. They now have a "hook" much like AWM does that allows you to control Taskbar an Window location from within the Nvidia Configuration Utility. Normally in 2D surround, the Taskbar spans the entirity of all 3 monitors that are configured for 2D surround. The Nvidia utility allows you to confine the Taskbar to only the center monitor of those 3 configured in 2D surround. It also allows you to confine maximized windows to only 1 of the 3 monitors configured in 2D surround. Normally without that option, a maximized window spans all 3 monitors at 5760x1080 (3x 1920x1080).
I know there is a workaround because DisplayFusion has a functioning Ignore Deactivation with this set of Nvidia drivers and configuration. I have the same issue with there product, that it doesn't recognize any hotkeys, but it DOES work for Ignore Deactivation, which is the more important feature for me to be able to access TeamSpeak and other applications on the 4th monitor while racing simulations.

For anyone in my situation, I finally have a resolution, at least temporarily.
A user suggesting deleting the associated nvmsmartmax files that Nvidia drivers install. I actually renamed both 32 and 64 bit apps and their associated DLL's and rebooted. No more Nvidia desktop hook.
AWM WORKS AGAIN!!!
The only issue is that I have to delete/rename those files every time I install a new driver.
Really wish you guys would have made half an effort to correct this problem from your end. Even this thread went with no response. I am completely frustrated with your lack of communication and inability to obtain the proper hardware to allow your software to work in all environments. For now I'm happy that I have a work around, but I'm dreading running into another issue that I'm afraid I'll get no help on.
