Hello,
I use AWM for thunderbird window handling. Now I have the problem that the main windows of tb and the full view mail window (after double click on mail) seems the same window. The window title is not the best option for finding differences. So I can't see differences and I can't activate extra settings.
It is possible to find differences? There is a extra id or something other for finding differences?
I hope you understand me, my english ist not the best sorry.
Thanks.

Hello,
We considered your wish.
But one of the way to solve your problem it is to create two specific rules: for main window (Window class: MozillaUIWindowClass; Window caption: Inbox - Thunderbird (switch on Exact match); Program: thunderbird.exe) and for reply (Window class: MozillaUIWindowClass; Window caption: Thunderbird (switch on Substring match); Program: thunderbird.exe).
Best regards!

Hello,
thank you. Because I use 10 Imap-Accounts I can't create a rule with exact match of window caption. An option is to make a list with exact matches or something else.
Thanks.

Hello,
Couldn't you describe Thunderbird window title's view? (or make printscreen)
Try to include title (with exact match) which is appearing when you are starting up Thunderbird in a rule for main window.

Hello, the windows name is often different. For example "Junk von acd@abc.com - Thunderbird", "Junk von ooo@ooo.com - Thunderbird" or "Contacts von acd@abc.com" and so on. So you can't creat a rule which is good for all.
Thanks.

Hello,
Is caption of your main window always changes when you
start
thunderbird.exe?
Our software "sees" window caption only when window is starting (i.e. if you will change caption after start - rule which is applied to this window will not changed).

Hi,
the caption is always the same at start. And I did'nt know that AWM sees only the window caption only when the program is starting. So I believe that I can reach my aim
Thank you...
