Sometimes its useful to turn on logging, do some actions and then turn it off, so the event log is small and self contained around the problem.
It would be really useful to keep the 'Show log window' menu option available even once logging is turned off - the viewer is much nicer than opening the log in notepad!
I know no new log entries would be created - maybe the log viewer could have a 'current logging status' bar so at least you know if its turned on or not?

Thank you very much for your feature request. I've registered it to our to-do list and this feature will be implemented in the next versions of our products.
