Please add a way to identify the defaults vs what we add. I'd like to be able to quickly remove those that I've added without affecting the defaults.
Maybe a * at the front of the name or an additional column that identified either default or the date the item was created?

Hello Chris and Actual Tools (Bogdan et.al.),
I think this could be very well done by implementing
Bertram's proposal
for having specific settings use default settings when not changed. It would be very welcome!
Best regards.

Hello gentlemen
Chris, do you mean the default specific settings like the settings for Skype, Chrome, MS Office etc?
Best regards.

Yes. If I create a brand new installation, those settings and exclusions. I'd like to be able to identify them later.

Hello Chris
We'll consider your request.
For now you can rename the default specifics manually or add some text into the Description field (Index tab) with multiple select.
Best regards.

Hello Chris and Bogdan,
Chris, I apparently had misunderstood what you meant when I responded on March 10th. I thought you meant you want to be able to distinguish between the default window settings and the specific window settings.
Bogdan, I would like to suggest that Actual Tools includes a description in the description field in the default specific settings (and exclusions!) so that (1) one knows it is a default setting provided by Actual Tools and (2) it is clear for what reason this default setting or exclusion was included.
Best regards.

Hello Pim
We'll consider this too.
Best regards.
