When my laptop is docked, I use a dual monitor setup. When my laptop is undocked, I only have access to the built-in LCD screen in the laptop. I spend much of my day in and out of meetings which means I am docking and undocking frequently.
It would be nice if AWM could "simulate" my multi-monitor setup as virtual desktops when I am using the laptop's single display.
Docked:
+-----------+ +-----------+
|.Monitor.1.| |.Monitor.2.|
|...........| |...........|
+-----------+ +-----------+
Undocked:
+-----------+
|.Virtual 2.|
|....+-----------+
+----|.Virtual 1.|
.....|...........|
.....+-----------+
I realize it may not be possible to detect if the laptop is docked, but maybe AWM could detect the number of monitors and act accordingly?
I love AWM and the great support!
