Hello,

Is there any chance you could add a option to change the wheel scroll speed for different applications?

For example the defaut wheel scroll speed on Windows 7 is "3". But I would like to change the speed to "1" for only iTunes.

I found a program called "KatMouse" this can do this however I would rather not have to install another program and wish Actual Window Manager could do it also.

User added an image

Thanks
Michael

As said above the default scroll speed is "3" and that is too fast for when scrolling through the album art in iTunes cover flow view. Albums get skipped.

However if you change the scroll speed to "1" it allows you too flip through the albums 1 by 1. But then the rest of scrolling on other windows is too slow.

I really hope you can add this feature!

Like I said "KatMouse" can do it which is great but I really wish I did not have to install another program. I would much rather let Actual Window Manager handle this :)

Michael, thanks!

I added your wish to our base of future changes. We'll think about the implementation of the feature.

Michael, please could you tell where would you expect to see such setting in AWM's user interface? Thanks!

Well one place you could put it is under "Index" for each program that was added as a rule.

You could add "Mouse Settings" where the other settings are like Startup,Closing and Position is.

And when you click on "Mouse Settings" it would have options to change the mouse wheel scroll speed for the highlighted rule. I guess you could add other mouse settings there aswell.

That's the best place for it I would think. :)

The only other place I guess you could put it is under Actions, options,Mouse. But you would need to add windows rules there.
