I would like to execute a script prior to the window closing.

For example: Let's say I have a text editor that doesn't check for modifications prior to closing.  I would like to catch the close event and execute an external script (autohotkey/autoit) that will send a CTRL-S to the window .

The actual task I want to perform is executing a CTRL-S when closing a MS Lync conversation window .
