 ..that dissapear and slide back into view when you position the mouse at the edge.

Like the tablet input panel for Windows Vista/7?

 WOW! You ready my mind! I would send this suggestion today, after play for hours with the "On-Screen Keyboard" of Windows.

This is "the secret" in action haha!
