Would it be possible to have an option in default settings to choose which monitor is the default for applications which do not have specific settings

Hello Martyn,
Of course, it is possible BUT:
1. Why are you want this ability?
2. Can you imagine all the possible consequences of moving all windows by default on the second monitor?

Hi Tatiana,
I've got 3 monitors, 2 fairly large and one smaller and off to the left of my field of vision. I define the smaller one as my main monitor and try to keep it clear of application windows so that I can always see my desktop contents plus a scratch pad and to-do list. My main work is done on monitors 2 and 3.
If I could default all windows to open on one of these monitors, they would be right in front of me and I only need specific settings for windows where I want AWM to take other actions.

Dear Martyn,
We received another request for this feature. Therefore its rate is increased.
Please, specify why are you can't set your 2 or 3 monitor as primary?

Tatiana,
I've refined my way of working a bit so the requirement has changed a bit.
What I would like to do is:
Have my main monitor as monitor 1 - this will have my task bar, system notification area, truelaunch bar and clipmate bar as well as my key open applications. Then, what I would really like to be able to do is have anything I save to my desktop appear as an icon on monitor 3 - so that I can see it without minimising the windows on my main screens.
Regards
Martyn

Martyn,
Your original request has been implemented and now available in
AWM 5.5 beta 1
so you can check it out.
As for your changed requirement - please could you explain it a bit more detailed? Some mockup screenshots would be good. Thanks!
