Other applications use the Pin image to pin the window to a particular spot on the Windows desktop or within that applications window area.
I would like to request the ability to Pin a window to the desktop using the Pin/UnPin images and to change the Stay on top image to something else.

On the other hand, many other applications use the Pin image exactly as Actual Tools do. Also we already have many customers who use our programs for several years and get used to this Stay-on-Top image. So it's very unlikely we will change this image to something else.
As for the "Pin to Desktop" feature, please clarify what does it mean exactly? How the pinned window should behave? Thank you in advance.

I would love to have a "Pin to Desktop" option. What I mean by that is I want, for example, to be able to pin some Google Gadgets to the destkop. If I press Winkey+D now to minimize all windows, it minimizes the gadgets too which I don't want to happen. Programs like Rainlendar have that feature built in. With Rainlendar no matter what you do, it's always visible on the desktop.

Well, Tim, thanks for the explanation. I have added this your request to our wishlist.

The "Pin-to-Desktop" feature has been implemented in the version 4.4 of Actual Tools.
