Is it possible within Windows Settings to launch a particular Multipel Monitors Profile to launch, and then when that program closes to set which profile to change back to?

Scenario:
Game launches with a different resolution causing the top monitors to offset.  Lock mouse doesn't properly adhere to that new resolution and crashes AWM when it's clicked outside that boundary.  If I can set a particular profile with those upper 2 monitors disabled, then I don't have to worry about them being accessible and crashing.

2 issues/requests:
1)  Allow which profile to be set, which would include monitor on/off and placement to disable them.
2)  Bug(?) in locking mouse to a full screen game where the resolution is less then the native desktop (1280x1024 vs 1920x1080) and crashes AWM when you accidentally click outside that bounds because it doesn't properly lock the mouse within the 1280x1024 area.

Thanks!
Chris

Hello Chris

I think that for now you can try to assign the hotkey for the profile and then assign the keyboard macro on startup for the game. But for now there is now way to return back to the previous profile.

Could you clarify? What does "placement to disable them" mean?

Could you describe it schematically, better on a screenshot. What exactly area is responsible for crashing?

Best regards.

The monitor profile would need to launched and completed BEFORE the game runs.  Games are extremely touchy when it comes to screen res and if you're trying to change that and monitor config while it's loading, the game will fail to run properly.

I'm starting to think that won't work.  The application launch is what triggers the settings, so there would be no way to handle that before the apps is completed.

However,

UltraMon places an extra TAB inside an applications property sheet that allows you to set the monitor configurations before the application is launched.  I don't necessarily have a problem loading UltraMon to do that part, but if it's something that you could do for AWM, that would be awesome.

So, maybe the correct request would be to create a pre-application launch TAB to set monitor configuration.  You could link that to a profile in AWM or set them individually.

You can download and try UltraMon to see what I mean.  After install, just right-click an application and you'll see their TAB.  Here's a page on their site explaining this feature:
