I am having stability issues with Windows 7 Explorer with Actual Window Manager v6.0, similar to the crashes that I had reported in the beta forums in the past.
This time, when booting windows and having AWM load at startup, after a few seconds, when I right click an icon or folder on the desktop, Explorer hangs crashes and the dialog box to close or restart explorer pops up. Once explorer restarts, right click functionality seems normal and AWM seems to keep running ok. When I disable AWM, explorer no longer experiences these instabilities on restart.
I have had similar startup issues in the past with v5.x of AWM.
Cany anyone help me find out why this instability occurs and what programs might be causing this?
TIA.
There is no special AWM configuration, it is run on installation default.

Alex, Tatiana, any suggestions for this problem? I have not figured out what would be causing these hanging and unstable explorer issues.
Do I need to provide more information, log files, etc?

Same problem, I think. The program works on my other system 7 64 bit computer without problem. On my Pavillion dv9000 nothing seems to work. After a while, the explorer program freezes.

Robert,
What system did install on your Pavillion dv9000?
What edition of your IE?
Do you have any extras for IE?
