I have used Actual Title Buttons for years and use them every day. For some reason, I have the icons appearing in the middle of the screen. The only way to get rid of them is to close the program. When I open it, the buttons do no reappear immediately, but pretty soon, there they are. How do I get rid of them permanently?

Hello, Ed
Thank you for contacting us.
Could you specify the exact number of your Windows build (type winver in the Search field of the Windows Start menu, press Enter. The window containing the build number will appear).
Also could you try to see what window the buttons belong to – create new Specific Settings in the Actual Title Buttons configuration module > Window Settings > Specific Settings and navigate to the Target Window section of the settings. Then use the crosshair tool in this section to drag the crosshair over these buttons and see whether the window parameters values in the Target Window section change as you place the crosshair on the buttons and move slightly away from them.
Minmize all windows in the system so that only desktop is behind the buttons, then drag the crosshair and release it while it’s right over the buttons and tell me what the values of the window parameters are in the Target Window section of the settings.
Also could you restart Windows, close as much applications as possible (including the ones running in background and having only tray icon), then start Actual Title Buttons and see whether the problem persists.
