There is a bug with the calculator on Windows 10 (x64, 22H2). If you quit (not pause) Actual Window Manager (8.15) and restart it, it doesn't work anymore with the calculator unless the calculator is started before AWM is started.

Steps to reproduce:
1. quit the calculator (if it is started)
2. quit AWM (not only pause it)
3. start AWM
4. start the calculator

Result: The calculator is not recognized by AWM at all. I also tested it with the log turned on.

Found and tested workaround:
1. quit AWM (not only pause it)
2. start the calculator
3. start AWM

Result: The calculator works now again, even if it is restarted. But if it is not started, when you quit AWM again and restart it, AWM will not recognize it again.

The bug and the workaround can always be reproduced even after a restart of Windows 10 and even after a clean reinstallation of AWM (of course with the installation option for system tools selected and all AWM directories deleted beforehand), of course then without imported settings.

Hello, technoid

Thank you for contacting us.

This problem has been confirmed. We'll try to fix it and will post here when it's fixed.

The problem is not only with Calculator, it's basically with all UWP applications. The same goes for the workaround - you can open any UWP application before starting Actual Window Manager again and UWP applications will be affected by AWM correctly.

Best regards.

Hello, technoid

I'm glad to notify you that the subject issue where UWP applications wasn't processed by AWM correctly after AWM's restart has been fixed and the fix is available in the latest version 8.15.1 of Actual Window Manager.

You can update your program to the latest version (program's tray icon context menu > Info > Check for Updates) or download the latest version manually, install it and confirm the fix.

Best regards.
