I have Actual Window Manager 8.14.3 with Windows 10 64 bit.

How I could make the buttons in Firefox to have the auto compact view like is in Chrome?

I am not sure if that's a bug with Firefox 68 ESR 64 bit or is feature request.

I made a short video, where I compare Firefox with Chrome.

Hello, Vinnie

Thank you for contacting us.

I was unable to reproduce this problem with Actual Window Manager 8.14.3 and Firefox (both latest version of Firefox ESR 68.9.0 and with the version 68.0 ESR) - the auto compact mode works correctly on my computer.

Could you specify the exact version of Firefox you're running?

Could you name the exact number of your Windows build (type winver in the Search field of the Windows Start menu, press Enter. The window containing the build number will appear).

Do you see this problem when Firefox is placed on the primary monitor?

What are the DPI settings for each of your monitors ("Change the size of text..." option in the system display settings)?

Best regards.

I have Firefox ESR 68.9.0 and Windows 10 17763.504

I have the problem also set Firefox to primary monitor.

I have high resolution monitor with custom dpi. I tried to use the default dpi with 100 and restart the system. No difference.

I re-instal Actual Window Manager and no difference.

I have update.

Please, check the video at https://streamable.com/3pe1wl

That's Firefox with the default values. I shift the title buttons with 3, because there are overlapping with the default title buttons.

Then I have the video, which is my original post https://streamable.com/t5vl47

I think that's something to do with the high resolution display or with the dpi or with the Actual Window Manager between them?

Vinnie,

Extra title buttons shouldn't overlap the Firefox buttons in the versions of the applications you've specified.

Do you have any extensions installed for Firefox?

Could you also send us a screenshot of the whole Firefox window if it's possible?

Best regards.

Thank you for your reply Bogdan.

The issue is not caused by Actual Window Manager.

Please, feel free to close this issue.
