Hi,
I use Window Blind 10.84 with a trial of Actual Window manager 8.14.13 on Windows 10 version 1909 build 18363.657.
I use the "Precision Windows 7" style, with the color modified to the last one, a dark maroon.
Actual shows the Title Buttons black for the active window, making them very hard to see.
Is there a way to make them white?

Hello, Robert
Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, there is no simple way to change the color of the buttons. We'll try to improve the compatibility of our features with WindowBlinds visual themes and will post in this topic if the compatibility is improved.
For now you can try to
create your own custom skin for title buttons
.
Best regards.

Thanks for the reply and the info about custom skins.
I'll try when I'm done moving from W7 to W10, which is taking a long time due to how awful W10 can be.

Robert,
Also you can try one of the custom skins, for example Aero_Style_Glass_Beta_1.zip. You can set a custom skin here: AWM configuration module > Window Settings > Global Options > Use custom skin from. The skins may not fit the theme very well but at least the buttons are more distinguishable. Please note that you need to restart AWM in order for the skin changes to take effect.
Best regards.

I can't find this theme, even in
https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds
.
The closest I found was Aero_Glass, which I don't like anyway.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Robert,
I'm talking about a skin for Actual Window Manager title buttons, not WindowBlinds theme. You can enable the skin here: AWM configuration module > Window Settings > Global Options > Use custom skin from. The skins are stored here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Actual Window Manager\Skins.
Best regards.

Oops, sorry, I misunderstood.
Unfortunately, all the custom buttons skins change the way they look in the AWM page, but not at all on the Window Blind managed windows: they stay the same.
I found another workaround: use Window Setting -> Default Setting -> Title Button -> Office 2007 Silver
It's no ideal, it makes a large block than can cover useful information on small windows, but at least the buttons are very visible now.
I'll have to dig into "create your own custom skin for title buttons" one of these days, but that looks like a lot of work and I have still many problems using W10 coming from W7 to solve.
For example, scanning into a folder using SMB did not work, I had to install an FTP server. And my tape restoration software hangs, probably because I use a 7 years old SAS adapter that's not compatible with my new mobo, so I have to buy a new one.
I find a new problem every day with W10.
