problem with the search box in explorer (windows not browser) when using the latest version of actual window manager, this box is bugea and does not leave it occupied while one uses the program, any solution?

Thank you for contacting us.

This is a known compatibility problem and it persists in the version of Windows 1909. We're working on it right now and we'll post in this topic when the fix is available.

Please confirm that you're running the version 1909 – type winver in the Search field of the Windows Start menu, press Enter. The Window containing the version and build number will appear.

The problem is associated with the Tabbed Explorer feature. For now as workaround you can temporarily disable the feature until the problem is fixed (AWM configuration module > Files and Folders > Tabbed Explorer > Group Explorer windows within tabbed containers).

I'm glad to notify you that the subject issue has been fixed and the fix is available in the latest version of Actual Window Manager 8.14.3 and our other products as well.

You can update your program to the latest version (program's tray icon context menu > Info > Check for Updates) or download the latest version manually, install it and and confirm the fix.
