When I have AMM running, Notepad crashes on launch (freezes) after upgrading to Windows 10 Version 1903.The moment I turn off AMM everything functions as expected. I am running AMM 8.13.

Hello, LOD-squa
Could you reproduce the problem and create dump file of the Notepad.exe process: Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) > Details tab > right click on the process in the list > Create dump file. The "Dumping process" window will appear, and when the file is created it will show the path to the file. Please, send this file to bogdan@actualtools.com.
Best regards.

We've already managed to figure out that this problem is caused by the problem in Windows update. And we've implemented the solution for the problem. The fix will be available in the next version. Stay tuned.
Best regards.

Bogdan Polishchuk,
Thank you. Unfortunately I will not be able to update to the new version (expired license) but it's nice to see that it has been addressed. I'll work on a workaround since I won't be able to renew it. I appreciate your time -- this will help others.

LOD-squa,
It's enough to disable the extra title button in Notepad in order for the problem to stop appearing. So, as workaround, you can create specific settings for Notepad, go to Title Buttons section and disable all the buttons, and the problem will stop.
Best regards.

I'm glad to notify you that the the subject issue has been fixed and the fix is available in
the latest version of Actual Multiple Monitors 8.14.1
and our other products as well.
You can update your program to the latest version (program's tray icon context menu > Info > Check for Updates) or download the latest version and install it manually and and confirm the fix.
Now you can use extra AMM title buttons on Notepad windows again.
Best regards.
